As Research Coordinator for New York Sea Grant (NYSG), Vanessa advances NYSG’s mission by bridging scientific research with community needs across New York’s coastal, marine, and Great Lakes environments. She assists NYSG's Research Program Coordinator in the administration of NYSG’s competitive research grant program, coordination of multi-institutional scientific partnerships, management of federally funded research portfolios.
